The embellished white wood monogram

I've had this 'Y' white wood monogram from Typo for ages. When I first got it, I had grandeur plans to embellish it but actually did nothing but hung it up on the wall [*hangs head in shame*]...and did I mention that I have a black unembellished one as well? *LOL*

I used a large piece of lace and adhered to the wood monogram with gel medium. I found a clear strap in my "save-it-for-a-rainy-day" stash and thought it might be cool to "belt" my monogram. *winks* Then I finished with some pearls along the edges and paper blooms and leaves. :)

Now, the black unembellished wood monogram is beckoning to me..."When will you make me pretty?"
