Using the glass pieces from old lighting...

Animal-kingdom-project-by-Yvonne-Yam-for-LESSology2

So I mentioned in my post yesterday [Getting to know my creative process] that I was trying to salvage parts from an old lighting fixture. I had to use the glass bits since I love anything clear and see-through [except clothes..for modesty reasons...*LOL*]

I glued the two separate glass pieces with E6000 glue, an industrial glue  [the old glue gun isn't gonna work..*winks*], then added some lace, pearls, leave, blooms and a tiny clay frog for LESSology Challenge #37: Animal Kingdom. Now it can be a pen holder. candle holder or a vase. A really quick and easy project for the home. :)

That is so amazing! I wouldn't have guessed how that started if you didn't tell me. I love that you dressed it up with flowers and leaves which made it romantic. The clear glass has sort of a chandelier prism look so piece the already had a romantic feel. Lovely!
