Yes friends, the CNY 2024 decorations are down and ready to use on layouts! Here is Layout #1. :)
Kept everything relatively simple since the CNY decor is so colourful and glittery. *winks*
Just some washi tape, twine and paper clip for a little interest at the right corner.

Err...yes...what started as fussy-cutting for a current project has turned into fussy-cutting the whole paper stack. *sheepish grin*
My wrist hurts but I now have a whole bag full of fussy-cut elements, ready to add to any new project...and that makes me happy. :)
What is on your workspace today?
A couple of years ago, I bought a used Nespresso machine for $50. It was a really old model but it worked and served me well. Then it died. *insert sad music*
Then I scored another Nespresso machine ...a current-selling model...for $50. It's slimmer, sleeker and red!
This isn't the best photo but since the old machine has been recycled, this will have to do. I tried to distract from the photo with those birdies. Did it work? *LOL*
P/s: I try to buy pre-loved stuff whenever possible...do you?
It's been a while...but for this project, I played with gesso, acrylic paints, gelatos, stencils and gold mist! *high fives all around*
I started with this cardboard envelope courtesy of Amazon Japan. And decided to do a mixed media happy mail package.

On this week's Workspace Wednesday, I would love for you to meet my current obsession - the Afmat Long Point Manual Pencil Sharpener. Yes. This contraption arrived a week ago...and has made me so very happy. :) *joyous music plays in the background*
Just look at my beautifully sharpened coloured pencils.:)
P/s: I may have also bought the Electric Pencil Sharpener and the Electric Eraser. *winks*
In case you were wondering, I am doing a gratitude journal for 2024. Just have to finish up my 2023 one...so here is this week's spread. :)
Got a twilly (long silk scarf for bags) for my vintage Gucci bag so she looks more fabulous and updated now. :) Also bought myself a bubble gun....have always wanted one. Yes, I play with it in my bathroom...it lights up and plays a happy tune (Don't judge me...just living out my childhood while adulting...*LOL*).

Happy Monday friends! Just sharing a layout about last week's day out in town with mum.:)
We had lunch, went to 1 Sephora event, shopped for mum's fancy shirt (pictured), went to another Sephora event, had dinner and shopped for pants to match. It was a long day. *winks*
Can't believe this was the same woman who came to my room in the morning and said she wasn't feeling that great and didn't want to go out. 2 hours later, she was like, "What time are we going out?"

Say hello to my latest nephew Aos. Yep...this cutie was smiling so sweetly at his fave aunt aka me (whom he just met today). He's half French and turns one next month. :)
