What I did to a "free" card

As a crafter, I make every single card I send out. I don't use ready-made store-bought cards. It is a matter of principle. *winks*

So I've been "stuck" with this freebie PWP card from Kikki K since 2015. Until last weekend that is. When I decided to just use it as a base for my card. *slaps head for not thinking about doing this sooner*

It was a super quick card to put together because I recycled the tag base (with crepe paper, doily and gold glittered goodness) and "Open me" sticker from some happy mail I got and basically just adhered the flamingo graphic, changed up the twine and added a paper clip, button and floral sequin.

I think it turned out quite pretty. What do you think?

Really pretty; I would be very happy to receive that card! Great idea to use the original as a base for your creativity!

Great transformation! I make all my cards too, also as a matter of principle.
