Obviously on a roll...here's another decorated envelope for the week. These are quick to put together with scrap bits...which is all the time I have for these days. :)

So the Yams went to a Kiehl's event recently and scored some samples in envelopes...which means decorated envelope projects! *happy music plays in the background*
Nothing fancy about this one. Just a little "happy scene" finished with shimmer mist of course! :)
P/s: Happy week ahead friends!
Another layout featuring the folks enjoying Day #1 of our recent trip to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
And yes, it really was a huge bowl of spicy fish.
And the folks posing with the giant prosperity cat. Asian businesses often have this cat at the cash counter to bring in the money luck/good business.
Happy Thursday friends!
Yes friends...it is yet another Fresh paper bag....made a little prettier. *winks*
Been enjoying the horizontal clustering of elements of late...have you noticed? *LOL*
Still working on the layouts from the Kuala Lumpur trip...
Here's the one about lunch at Madam Kwan's - a popular Malaysian food restaurant in Kuala Lumpur.
Love the new graphic updates on my Canon Selphy printer...super fun!
Happy Monday friends! How about a mish mash card today?
Yes friends! Finally done with this sketchbook...only took a few months! *LOL*
I started with this sturdy black paper bag from Shu Uemura.
The patterned paper seemed quite busy so I went for a sprinkling of small colourful elements instead of one focal point.
Happy Wednesday friends! Just getting all the recent family travel photos printed and documented.
From our recent KL trip...
The folks went to "try out" the perfumes at duty-free before boarding the plane...
My sister used her birthday voucher from the airline and bought a box of cookies, delivered to her on the plane (yes, it was a very lovely tin box which is now in my possession of course...*LOL*).
These days I've been challenging myself to think of creative ways to decorate a box without covering the base design.
Like this gorgeous red box with embossed gold speckles.
I kept everything really simple and used the embossed gold speckles to help create "movement". :)
I don't do clean and simple very often but decided to give this one a go. *winks*
I did use bold colours for maximum impact on this card though...:)
Happy week ahead friends!
P/s: I had projects to post last week but mum had a fall in the bathroom and had to be hospitalised. She's okay now. She hurt the back of her head with a deep cut..brain CT scan and blood tests were all clear. She was dizzy because of the flu and fell. Please check on your old folks.
Sometimes you get challenged with a particular box design because it's so bold and colourful to begin with....
Like this bright and "loud" box from skincare supplies.
Of course, one has the option to just cover the entire box...but I just pulled from the existing colours and tried to match the overall vibe of the patterns. :)
I recently baked for CNY and realised how much I miss baking. I haven't baked much in the past year because of time constraints. But this year, I want to get back to baking. It was lovely seeing the dough come together in the mixer. And the smell of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies was just divine! :)
And just like that, we are in the second month of 2025. And I still have a few more pages to go on this current eye drawing sketchbook. *LOL*
Hope your year's been going okay for you so far!
