Hmmm...I wonder if this store is worth "undressing" for...*winks*

Warm-winter-wishes

I remember my first trip to Europe in winter....all bundled up like a burrito. :) It wasn't fun to go shopping at all....when you had to remove layers of clothing when you enter [super toasty in the store with the heater on]...and put them back on when you leave.

When we saw a street full of little stores, my sister and I devised a system. We would take turns to enter each store and hand signal to indicate if the store was worth "undressing" for. *LOL*

A quick card for the latest challenge at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps.  I used Snowbunny Lucy. Isn't she sweet?

Supplies: Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps image - Snowbunny Lucy - and sentiment, Echo Park patterned paper, American Crafts glitter cardstock, Copics, twine, ribbon.

Paper piecing is a great way to use up your paper scraps.

How's-life-card

Paper piecing is really great way to add patterns to your stamped images and use up paper scraps. I had so much fun paper piecing this car! It would be pretty interesting to see patterned cars on the road....eye candy when there's bumper to bumper traffic...*LOL*

I added some pop dots for added dimension! :) Come play along with SCRSC 93.

Supplies: Basic Grey patterned papers, Copics, Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps image, SRM sticker.

Why I don't send my "older" cards out....

Happy-birthday-card

This year, I've been making fewer cards AND sending those I make out as soon as possible. It's a much better system than before.....which was essentially making as many cards for challenges as possible and keeping them in a box *winks*. I feel weird about sending my "older" cards out though...they seem like I was "trying too hard" to find my style...*LOL*

Just wanted to share my card for the latest challenge at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps. Come play along! :)

Supplies: Sassafras patterned paper, Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps image, Copics, SRM sticker, Fiskars border punch, twine, button, plastic confetti.

Cold begone!

Boo

Ahhh...if I were a witch, I would cast a "Cold Begone" spell! *LOL* Really though, I'm into Day Four of The Nasty Cold epidemic which is seeing little signs of reprieve. :( Will you come help me chase this evil cold away? *winks*

Just wanted to share my card for the latest challenge at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps. A little paper piecing and colouring with copics. Love that I found this cool journaling block that is perfect to "frame" my cute little witch.

Do blondes have more fun?

Hello-card

I have thought of going blonde on more than one occasion. Just for fun. But my hairstylist said that it's not for lazy people like me. *LOL* I'm a wash-and-go kind of girl. No blow-drying or styling. I even skip highlights because I would need to go for touch-ups. Vanity and laziness are not mutually exclusive though...*winks*

Oh well, the images on my card can be blondes. *winks*

Just sharing my card for the latest challenge at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps. :)

Spreading a little sunshine....*winks*

Sparkle-Creations-Sinny-Days-card

You know what it's like when you come home from a country with a climate totally different from yours? Weather envy. Seriously. Even though it was freezing in Melbourne [okay it was 5 °C with strong wind...I'm used to 34°C with humidity..lol], it was nice to walk in the sunshine without breaking out in sweat! *LOL*

Speaking of sunshine, the new challenge at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps is up...

Supplies: Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps image - Suitcase Ruby, Copics, Maya mist, Ranger Stickles,  My Mind's Eye trim, brad, button, paper blooms.

And now I'm spreading a little sunshine to one of my blog readers! *winks* Last week, I sneaked a surprise giveaway in one of my posts [just to see if you were paying attention..*LOL*]. It was really fun reading comments from people who actually read the small print...hehe..I can be sneaky at times! *winks* Maybe a few more surprises this month?

Congratulations Cindy deRosier! You are the winner of a personalized canvas! Please email me with your mailing details! :)
