So I finally got to enjoy morning at The Tearoom at the iconic Queen Victoria Building in Sydney. It was a decadent indulgence after a long red-eye flight. :)
The couple seated before us was dressed to the nines in labels to match the grand decor of the place....while I was still wearing my in-flight outfit because it was too early to check-in! At least they didn't turn me away...*LOL*
The morning tea was scrumptious and terribly sinful. Even the macaron was yummy. [I typically find meringue-based confections too sweet for my liking.]
Lot of fun with a new medium - Liquitex resin sand, mixed with glass bead gel and mica flakes. Love the shimmering effect.

Love the textured colors and elements! A lot of thoughts and details went into this fabulous design! I just love how this Tearoom page feels---so fancy and pretty!
What a lovely way to capture and remember a proper tea. I've attended several fancy teas, but sadly I've never worked the photos into scrapbook pages. After seeing your work, I am more eager to try to do a similar layout perhaps making a piece to hang. I like the effect of all the embellishments and glitter. Thanks for the inspiration.

Oh, WOW, that is gorgeous! LOVE the color. So serene with all the pretty blue and I adore the small pops of red. The texture is just fantastic, too!
