Grandma's barber shop...with Blue Fern Studios chipboard

Grandmas-barber-shop

Okay, the nephews have upgraded from Aunt Y's trim room to Grandma's barber shop...aka the backyard...

The nephews love getting haircuts by grandma because they each get a dollar for not fidgeting while she cuts their hair.  *LOL*

Love the camera diecut courtesy of bloggy friend Genevive...:)

Tried out my new medium on my Blue Fern Studios chipboard - Liquitex black lava...

Love my new "mask"...the heart-shaped chipboard from Blue Fern Studios...:)

This layout was based on the August sketch at Blue Fern Studios...Come play along!

Once again you have given me a boatload of good ideas. That's a beautiful meaningful memory that you captured in an album layout! I wish I could go back to my children's childhood and take more pictures which could be used in a creative layout. We always took the stilted ones where everyone was faced forward and smiling too much. I also wish that I had thought of bribing my kids with a dollar for sitting still during a haircut. I just threatened to cut off their ears and that usually worked....LOL!
