Canvas memo board using Ranger Distress Stains

Canvas-memo-board

I remember sometime last year when I openly declared that I wasn't that into distress stains. Got to take it back now [hangs head in shame] because I'm in love! :)

The background on this 12x12 canvas was created with scrunched up wrapping tissue and distress stains and lots of water.

Then I added some pretties from the Zeus and Zoe store. :)

I also adhered some paper clips so that I can attach notes and photos to my canvas memo board...which was inspired by the Mood Board challenge at Zeus and Zoe.

P/s: Can't wait for you to meet this month's guest blogger! :) Have you entered my Faber Castell Design Memory Craft giveaway?

*Edited* This canvas memo board was published in Create: Vintage February 2014. :)

Wow this really is so pretty Yvonne! Perhaps you can give a tutorial on distress stains as they seem a bit like mists to me only mists are more versatile so I don't see the point in buying stains :/

Beautiful! You're allowed to not be into something and then be totally into it later. Perfectly normal. :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE these colors-- love the background and lace and that flower---LOOOOOOOOOVE it all!!

And I LOVE that you had to admit you love distress stains now-- I am always the last to join a trend (washi tape, arrows, neons).... I guess I better make a statement on my blog with my confessed love for these trends:) LOL! <3
