Imagine & believe

Supplies: Patterned paper: October Afternoon (base), SEI(bugs) & Fancy Pants (label), Chipboard: Heidi Swapp, Stickers: Toga, Others: StazOn (black),White pen, black pen, ribbon, border punch, glossy accents & clear acrylic

"Imagine & believe" were words from an English teacher at school. She always said that we had to use our imaginations, dream big and believe that hard work will pay off. From time to time, I would forget and engage in a self-pity fest. What advice have you gotten that you still use today?

This layout features my second nephew, O, trying so hard to emulate his big brother to flash the "peace" sign. It was fun to watch and made me wonder if I was like that too, trying to copy my older brother's every move. I have certainly out-grown that! :)

This layout was inspired the sketch at Pile it On, the ad at Ad This & the catalyst at Creative Therapy.

oooh....love it....the clear base is fabbie! I'm a firm believer in "things happen for a reason"...you might not realize it during the time when things are happening but I think things/situations make us stronger, kwim?

That's such a great advice...I guess I learned to not put my energy in things that can't be changed...but to focus on the now and here and what can be.One of my favorite quotes ="We cannot direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails".Hugs,Jeanet

What a beautiful page and wise words! Faith is something we all need a little more of, and without imagination, well...I can't imagine where I'd be!
