Today is my day - Scrapping Out Loud challenge

Supplies: Patterned paper: My Mind's Eye (border) & Kaiser (Butterflies), Cardstock: Bazzill (Brown & white), Rubons: Kaiser, Wooden butterfly: Kaiser, Pearls: Kaiser, Chipboard letters: Bella (green), Brads: Junkitz. Others: white pen, felt flower

Had to miss out on last week's challenge over at Scrapping Out Loud..:( But I'm back this week with this LO (yay!). This week's challenge is to scrap about your favourite day of the week. I incorporated the sketch of the week (with a little variation - I used 3 photos instead of 4) as well as the word of the week in this LO (yay!)

The shaped border was a "leftover" from another project and adhered to brown cardstock. I used a white pen for some faux stitching :) The beautiful butterflies were cut from Kaiser Craft paterned paper, adhered to the brown cardstock with a brad and decorated with self-adhesive pearls (also Kaiser). White flourishes (rubons from Kaiser) were added to give the butterflies some "movement". I added a wooden flourish to the large felt flower.

I used the same photo and put them through Poladroid (this cool site that my friend Aimee discovered..) which lets you create "polaroid-like" pictures from your digital images. Go try it out, it's fun! :) Pin It
