So the niece didn't play dress-up for 8 weeks....and was so happy to be reunited with her fairy costume. :)


I wanted to mimic the fairy costume so I went with tulle, vellum and butterflies..and a lot of shimmer.

The background was created by mixing Dylusions mist into Liquitex light modeling paste and spreading it with The Crafter's Workshop stencil on DCWV textured cardstock. [Yes, the Dylusions ink gets toned down a lot when mixed into modeling paste...and goes from a bright neon pink into a saccharin sweet pink! :)]


Mat the photos on vellum, then adhere to cardstock.


Embellish with tulle, lace, butterflies and bling. 


Then I added some Jo Sonja glitter paint for all-over shimmer. And added my journaling directly on the photo.

Super easy and quick. :)

Oh yes! I recognised the Jo Sonya right off...it's got a lovely glimmer....this looks perfectly girls & the materials give smashing texture!!!!
