Displaying your canvases at home

I know a lot of you are curious about my canvases...do I display them or do I give them away? The majority are given away as gifts while the rest are up on the walls using 3M removable velcros.

They are in group clusters in selected areas of the home. I feel that having a vignette helps to tie everything together. Why yes...my vignette includes a stuffed pig and sheep and a toy gumball machine....*winks*

Since I'm not much of a planner when it comes to my mixed media canvases, I find that displaying the same sizes together is more visually appealing.

What about you? How do you display your art at home?

I love your work space Y :)

And the canvas that you had sent me as a gift is in my living room and is always the center of attraction when friends & family come over :)

I give a lot of mine away too -- and the rest (my faves) are on the family room wall (which right now is the craft room/brookie play area/holiday dinner spot! LOL!) ... I loveeeeeee how you have yours up and LOVING that lamp!!!

They look great - & I love how even though they're a totally eclectic mix, they all go together really well! Being the same size is the key, I think.....mine are up around the house & in my scrap room:):)Not that I do many canvases!!!

They are all so pretty! I love how you display them! I am quite the same as in displaying my wall hangings. Though if I notice anything being slightly off/uneven, and can't get it to work for me, I have to change the whole thing around to something else (that's where being a perfectionist, can make me go crazy at times!) ;)

Oh wow, your canvases look amazing!! I love how you've displayed them!! It's like an art gallery!! I have shelves in my craft room but I never seem to have time to do anything but shove things on there. I so need to do some cleaning and rearranging :) Have a great day :)

I love seeing how you display your canvases! They're beautiful on their own, but grouped like this... wow! Fabulous! Do you switch them out as you make new favorites or do you just keep adding groupings around the house?

These are just gorgeous - do you paint over them with anything to keep away the dust?

Oh, yay! I'm SO happy to see a few glimpses of your home and how you display your artwork. They look amazing grouped in the clusters. And love your tip of using the removable velcros. I love these!
I have to say that I don't make a lot of canvases or wall art...but I do try to use the things I make in my decor somehow....and change it up a lot so I don't get bored! ;)

Very lovely! They look great displayed as you do, in sizes & groupings like that. I am not one to display alot of my art. Strange, but I am shy!! I have some work from others that is on display in my home, that I have done swaps with. Like your lovely canvas you made me that is on my scrap room door!!
