The last two months have been particularly challenging - mentally and emotionally. So it was such a pleasant surprise to receive unexpected happy mail from a dear friend. :)

I'm so sorry to hear you've been going through a challenging time. I hope it's temporary and easier times are ahead, but without knowing what's up I'm concerned that might not be the case. I wish you the best.
