It has been quite fun "shopping" in the scrap pile for the little bits and bobs to put together on projects. I have discovered that I used to
1. Enjoy fussy cutting. A lot apparently. I have quite a collection of fussy-cut critters and flowers.
2. Like patterned paper with journaling cards.
3. Be indiscriminate about accepting patterned papers from well-meaning friends. There are some really questionable designs that I would have never chosen on my own and evidently, have not figured out how to use them yet. *LOL*
Here is a card that was created when I went "shopping" in my scrap pile....
What about you? Do you enjoy "shopping" in your scrap pile?

Oh yes! I do like shopping in my stash, especially when I find stuff I forgot I had. Or rediscover things I USED to love using but haven't for a while! Buttons might be one of those. Like how you've used some here. Must get mine out again.....!!!!
I did that on Sunday!!! I grabbed a TON of OLD papers and cut them all to be ready for cards!!! I now have over a 100 pieces of 4x5 pieces ready to go! LOL!! I loveeeeeeeeee this! LOVING the little fox!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I need to shop from my scrap pile more...it's already so big, it would take me years to make a dent in it ;) This is gorgeous!! I love the colors and the papers!! The little fox is so sweet!! Beautiful, my friend!! Have a great day!! Big hugs :)

Yes, it's hugely satisfying shopping my scraps! I don't do it often enough. Seems like your questionable patterned papers might be tamed with some gesso and stencils - if anyone can make it work, you can!
I must hunt down this pin I have that helps with crazy paper...of course you completely cover it...HUGS for such a cute card!
oh my word...this is sooo cute!!
I do enjoy shopping my scrap pile.... but definitely need to do it more often! :) This card is super duper cute, my friend! Love your little fussy cut fox friend, and I think the sentiment on the flair button is really unique and fun. I am all about the ledger and journaling cards, too.... oh, and buttons! I can never get enough buttons!! <3
This is so cute! And how fabulous it came about from your scrap pile! Thanks so much for joining us at Fusion.
