Living on a tiny island, I'm always sad when old buildings and shophouses get pulled down completely to make way for contemporary skyscrapers. So I was really delighted when I stayed at The Westin Sydney back in July. The luxurious hotel is built at the historic General Post Office - love how they restored the old building structure and made it even better.
It was fabulous to have breakfast while admiring the lovely architecture.
So the design team at Zeus and Zoe are challenged to work on the theme "steamy chic" this month - incorporating steampunk with shabby chic goodness.
It was one of those layouts that started out simple, then just exploded! 8.5 x 11 is such a small space! *LOL*

where do I start.. I'm speachless...Delicious looking LO and yummi colours. Just love all the mixed media, bling and things. It must have been a fantastic opportunity to stay in that gorgeous historic hotel.. lucky you :)
