This week's page from the gratitude journal - Kuriya Dining's yusheng

There's this prosperity dish that we eat at Chinese New Year called yusheng. It's essentially a salad with raw fish slices. Everyone stands around the dish and mixes the salad with chopsticks while saying auspicious phrases.

The one at Kuriya Dining is hands down the best yusheng ever. Because the fish slices are cut sashimi style...thick and succulent...the way I like it. And they also add other seafood like prawns and fish roe. Great for those who enjoy seafood..like me. *winks*
