So two weekends ago, my parents and sister whisked off for a short holiday to Hong Kong and I played the "home alone" sympathy card to score a home-cooked meal at my cousin's new home. [Yes...I can be "devious"...*sinister music plays in the background*].*winks*
Except for the little snafu where I drove in circles trying to find her apartment [google maps said her address doesn't exist], I had a great time viewing her new abode and catching up with her and her husband.
I also got to spend time with their puppy....little miss Caramel. And eat my cousin's chocolate chip bread pudding with ice-cream. Yum!

Lucky you! That sweet sounds divine! And so is Caramel [almost good enough to eat as well!!!]....the little ampersands on each photo are such a neat way to lead the viewer to the next photo! Clever, as always. Lovely memory scrapped:):)

I've pulled that "home alone" sympathy card plenty of times myself, haha! Sounds like you got a great day out of it, and what a cute, cute layout! I love the bright green and yellow, and they look great with that fun kraft background. The big banner is really fun. Love the bird clip, too. I also love all the extra added touches like the staples, stitches, and paper piercing. You always add so many amazing details!
