Love a hearty laugh! :)

Love a hearty laugh

It's interesting how grown people work really hard to make a kid laugh for the camera, eh? But I think it's worth it for this picture of my niece...love a hearty [and toothless] laugh! :)

Love a hearty laugh closeup

I used the sketch at Pencil Lines and the prompt at Bird is the word.
Supplies: (from Your Scrapbook Stash) Echo Park Papers and stickers, (from my stash) American Crafts cardstock and thickers, buttons, pom pom trim, Heidi Swapp stamp, brown pen, white pen, paper piercer, 3D dots, ribbon.

P/s: Will you leave a little love for me over LESSology? Thanks sweet friends! :)

Rolling over is quite a feat...:)

Roll

I must say I quite enjoy keeping my blogging pals in suspense! [cue evil laughter!!!!] I will let you know tomorrow. Really.:)

I did this quick layout last night. It features my niece S, who recently learnt how to roll over and lie on her tummy. Apparently, quite a feat for those under 3 months. *LOL*

I did a little masking and misting (aka my guest Helen's modern shabby challenge) and just layered with some burlap, wrapping tissue, swirly chipboard and patterned paper.

I used the sketch at Pencil Lines and the inspirational colours at Get Picky.

Supplies: Pebbles papers, Fancy Pants chipboard, Maya mists, Making Memories plastic tag, Martha Stewart butterfly punch, American Crafts thickers, ribbon, button, paper bloom, burlap, wrapping tissue, brown pen.

Candid shot...:)

Candid shot
This candid shot really reminds me of why I scrapbook...to capture the stories of real life...and maybe have a good laugh about those silly moments like this one....:)

My father, all camera-ready [read: fake smile]. My littlest nephew, J, struggling to get away from grandpa because he wants to go to the playground. My niece, S, a little irritated about the photo-taking [or maybe just taking a dump..hahaha] *LOL*

I used the sketch from Pencil Lines.

Supplies: October Afternoon patterned papers, 7 Gypsises tab, American Crafts puffy letter stickers, SRM sentiment stickers, ribbon, pom pom trim, buttons, tulle, brad, black pen.

P/s: Have a super weekend friends! And if you can spare the time, I would really love for you to play along with my guest Angi's gifting challenge! :)

You really don't need a lot of supplies to complete a layout...:)

Family memories

You really don't need a lot of supplies to complete a layout...
[This layout was done for my friend Spardha and features her family!

I misted the circles using a toilet roll tube as a mask...added some bits of patterned paper and rub-ons.

I misted the chipboard which served as a cool frame for the photo....added some wrinkle ribbon for a little more texture and dimension.

I used little bits of pom pom trim and baker's twine for some texture. And played with some chipboard letters, stickers and rub-ons for the title/journaling for the page. Mixing the fonts adds a playful feel to these happy photos! :)

You really don't need a lot of supplies to complete a layout! I used the sketch at Pencil Lines! :)

Supplies:Patterned paper from Pink Paislee and Jillibean paper, maya mists, Imaginisce rub-ons, American Crafts thickers, Gauche Alchemy button, baker's twine, wrinkle ribbon, stickles in rock candy, toilet roll tube.

Wednesday

Oh really?

Oh really

So my sister is finally wearing makeup! :) She called me at least 10 times when she was at the mall..."Oh really? I need that?"

This layout commemorates her first official "I did it myself!" face! :)

A little misting and masking on the background. Patterned papers are from Scenic Route Paper. Making Memories brads. Lace trim. Baker's twine. Buttons. Craft Affair chipboard letters. SRM stickers.
I was inspired by the sketch at Pencil Lines and the challenge at The Studio (to use frames).

P/s: I really hope you can play along with my guest Erika's distressed challenge...it ends on Friday!

Oh smile birthday boy!

Oh smile birthday boy!

This week's song at Scrapping The Music is the song Bubbly by Colbie Cailliat. A happy happy song! My layout features my nephew, O, who recently celebrated his 4th birthday! :) The birthday boy gave me some pretty sweet smiles! :)

Just a little fun with some Sassafras scraps and crepe paper. Brads. Button. Some handstitching and loads of stickers! :) I used a Pencil Lines sketch. :)
