Happy Thursday friends! Here's a page from the gratitude journal.  My first Foreo cleansing device that my sister bought me 5 years ago died...and cleansing hasn't been the same until my new pink one came along!Yep...I waited for a sale for like 3 months. And got 30% off and in a sweet pink colour! She's so pretty!:)

Wednesday's decorated envelope project

 

Really had lots of fun with this decorated envelope. The "flowers bloomed " sentiment was cut out from a pastry cake box. I added stickles for extra sparkle. *winks*

The one about mum's birthday

 

So we headed to the city for the day on mum's birthday. :)

We went to a Thai restaurant for lunch and then went to a L'Occitane event at the same mall. Mum and dad really love the L'Occitane hand creams and this time they got to try more products (and scored samples!). :)

After that, it was another feeding time for the "kids"...they had some pastry and coffee. Then a little shopping before we walked to another mall to have dinner with my sister. And we finished the day with an ice-cream birthday cake for mum. :)

Lots of happy mail and packaging bits on this layout. :)

I really enjoy pages from my gratitude journal as a way to remember the good things in life that I had. Like this cute pot of succulents. Because this gal may be good at a lot of things but keeping succulents alive is not one of them. *LOL* In my defence, two stems are still fighting on so let's stay positive! :)

Workspace Wednesday - a quick floral watercolour piece

 

 

Yes friends! It's Wednesday yet again! This week has been such a blur so far considering I spent two of the days with the folks at the hospital for separate medical appointments. Not sure how the public medical system works in your country but here there's a lot of waiting for each "segment" like taking weight, blood pressure, blood etc. 

Anyway, here's the last floral watercolour piece I did on Sunday. Hopefully I get some time to paint in the next few days. :)

It's been really lovely filling up my Gratitude Journal with random photos from my phone, reminding me to take stock of the little moments that make life just that little bit better. Yes friends, we are into the second half of 2023 and it's been really challenging so far. Hang on...we are in this together. And I am quite happy with the ones I did draw. :)

Thursday's quick decorated envelope

 

I recently attended a Loccitane event and scored some freebies in this lovely yellow envelope...which I had to decorate of course. :)

Here's the bright yellow envelope before its makeover. *winks*

Yep...look at me go with that stamping (which I did a long time ago...)

And I brought my folks with me to the event....which means I have 2 more envelopes to decorate! *fun music plays in the background*:)
