Tuesday

The week in 6 eye drawings

Going full-steam ahead with the eye drawings in my toned tan sketchbook. Just 2 more eye drawings and I would have completed another eye sketchbook *high fives all around*!

Haven't shared in a while but I'm actually halfway through this sketchbook...:)

I've been having fun building the layers of colours to create depth...

Happy weekend friends!

This week's eye drawings from the toned tan sketchbook

Still trying to get the hang of working on toned tan paper for my eye drawings...

I do enjoy the depth I can achieve with a few more layers. :)

Friday's desk - three eye drawings for the week

This week has been particularly stressful so I'm back into my eye drawing therapy.

Still love blue eyes the most.

And yes, I've really been enjoying that neon pink coloured pencil. A lot. *winks*

Workspace Wednesday - this week's single eye drawing

It's been slow but I'm making time and did one eye drawing so far. *LOL*

I know it looks like the usual eye drawing but it's actually quite a bit more challenging with toned paper and a much larger substrate. Still learning. Still having fun. That's what matters. :)

Thursday

All done with this sketchbook!

As mentioned previously, I'm trying to "complete" all my half-used sketchbooks. To use what I have instead of buying something new. Sure it would be nice to have completed sketchbooks with a cohesive theme. But I think it's more important to have finished sketchbooks to look back on that shows my growth as a budding artist. *winks*

All done with this sketchbook! Moving to the next half-used sketchbook!

Wednesday

Another week of eye drawings in the toned tan sketchbook

Really enjoying the challenge of working my Holbein coloured pencils in the toned tan sketchbook.

And of course, drawing on a much bigger surface means I can get more details in...

I particularly enjoy the luminosity of those neon shades...they really pop off the toned tan paper.

And playing with those fluorescent colours. :)
