Decorated glassine bags to fit into a decorated file folder - another postal-friendly gift idea

So last year I made a whole bunch of decorated file folders and this year, I'm planning to fill them up and send them out. Here are some decorated glassine bags filled with goodies. Can you guess the contents of the bags? *winks*

Clue #1: Day.

Clue #2: Night.

Here they are in the previously decorated file folder. The slot on the right will be a note to the recipient on how to use the contents inside the glassine bag...which are sachets of skincare for day and night! Did you guess correctly?

Here is the decorated file folder filled with some skincare supplies so that the recipient can have am at-home spa day. Yep, I included products for all the steps in my typical skincare routine (you know I'm very thorough so like 6 or 7 steps each for day and night...*LOL*)

This file folder actually goes into a "beauty box" along with other makeup supplies for a dear friend who loves makeup. I will share that decorated box (you know it has to be embellished a little, right?Hahaha!) later...you know, in case she reads this blog post.

What do you think of my postal-friendly gift idea?

Make Stuff Monday - Another Christmas decorated mini file folder

I love doing these mini Christmas decorated file folders because I get to really use up my Christmas stash. It's super fun to use bits and bobs from different collections and creating Christmas vignettes on my projects. :)

And of course, they are a vehicle for me to showcase my fussy-cut Santa who is (possibly) on every Christmas project this year. *winks*

I went with fussy-cut elements, chipboard and stickers. :)

Happy week ahead friends!:)

Make Stuff Monday - Another decorated Christmas mini file folder

Well friends, it's been a while since I last made a decorated mini file folder. And given my mission to exhaust all the Santa faces I fussy-cut out of a sheet of patterned paper, I decided to make a Christmas-themed one. :)

I had this special request from a bloggy pal to include a bird with Santa. Does this count Julie???

I really liked the last decorated Christmas mini file folder I made with the pockets and pull-out tags so I made a variation of it here.

Here is the back...

With another Santa face of course...*winks*

Another fun pull-out element. :)

I really enjoyed creating this decorated Christmas mini file folder. What do you think?

P/s: I still have 20++ more Santa faces to work through...*wish me luck*

Make Stuff Monday - a fun Christmas-inspired decorated mini folder

Hello friends! I' was feeling a little down over the weekend and decided to cheer myself up by making some Christmas projects! For this week's Make Stuff Monday, I challenged myself to make a fun Christmas-inspired decorated mini folder, :)

I even decorated the back of the folder! Yay...go me! *high fives all around*

Here's a full view of the front and back of the folder.

If you were observant, you would have noticed that there seems to be a large pocket holding some of the elements....

And you would be right! I decorated a yellow envelope with flat elements so that I can tuck in a card for the recipient. And I made a tag which the recipient can use to attach to a gift for someone else. You know how much I love the idea of re-gifting so that love gets spread around.

Here is a look at the interior which I also spruced up a little...can I get another "high five"?
I kept it simple because it will be loaded with some Christmas goodies anyway. :)

P/s: If you were wondering, "Hey, this gal must have made a dent in her Christmas stash..look at how much stuff she incorporated in this project!", then you must NOT know me very well. Because I have stuff to last me for years! *LOL*

A Christmas mini folder in June

Well friends, you know it had to happen. Your gal here just had to throw in some Christmas projects into the mix during this #stayathome time. Meet the Christmas rendition of the  decorated mini file folder! *winks*

This one came together rather quickly because

1. The Christmas tag was something I made last year but didn't use it for gift-wrapping.
2. The "Yes" tag was from happy mail.

So I pretty much added a "mat" for the two tags and just added a few embellishments to tie them together.

Hope you've had a great week friends! Enjoy your weekend! :)

Make Stuff Monday - Coffee Lovers edition

Hello friends! Today's Make Stuff Monday is another mini decorated file folder - Coffee Lovers edition. :)

It only took me less than a year to finally get into the CUTplorations coffee-inspired dies I got last year...*hehehe*

Love a pun-ny sentiment. *winks*

I was tempted to use all the die-cuts from the set but settled for just 2. *LOL*

The coffee cup is a Maya Road wood veneer embellished with patterned paper, twine and bling.

Wednesday

Another vintage-inspired mini file folder

So you know I go through phases in my creative journey and when I'm super into something, I'll just be making lots of different variations of that type of project right? *winks*

Well, meet decorated mini file folder #6! :)

It started with me really wanting to use the tag and the fussy-cut bird so I created a collage with the fussy-cut blooms and then I added some fibers for the tag. Next I decided that the tag needed a little more punch so I added a round mat (vintage-playing card)....a piece of scrap here and there and of course, the piece got way too big to actually put on a card so I made a mini file folder. *LOL*

I finished with vintage and pearl trim and some blooms.

So far I've only mailed out one filled with goodies. That took nearly a month to reach the recipient. I hope to send the rest out when countries start easing on restrictions...

Happy Wednesday friends!

This week's fun mini folder

Hello friends! Happy Wednesday! Meet this week's fun mini folder! :)

I did go a little trim crazy...*winks*

I "cheated" a little by using an old decorated giant bottle cap as the focal point...and just build up the design from there.:)

This turned out so cute, eh? ;)

Tuesday

Vintage-inspired decorated folder

So the obsession with the decorated mini folders continues! Here is this week's vintage-inspired decorated folder. :)

As usual, your gal got carried away with the layering of embellishments. *winks*

Yes...that would be washi tape, vintage trim, pearl trim and a bling butterfly. :)

Can you tell that I was just trying to fit as many bits as I can in my cluster? *LOL*

And yes, the feathers are there for strategic reasons of course...ahem..cover up mistakes. *hehehe*

A quick look at the interior of the folder. Apologies for the glare...the fairies are glittered so the camera went a little crazy.

Hope you are having a fabulous week so far my friends! Let's focus on what we can control and derive joy from the little things in life we can still do from the comfort of our homes. :)
