I recently scored some unadorned Kraft bags and just had to get to decorating! *winks*
Trying a vertical design and experimenting with creating different clusters that are linked by colours.
Happy week ahead friends!:)

Happy week ahead friends!:)
Happy happy Monday! For this week's Mixed Media Monday, we are decorating another Kraft bag! *winks*
Yes friends! Easing back into mixed media with this upcycled paper bag incorporating the pretty lace I got on my recent trip! *high fives all around*
Started with this sturdy Kraft bag...I painted gesso over the text to create a "textured" base for the rest of my elements. :)
Then went a little wild with my collage of found stuff...
Yes...gold mist was involved...and gold paint too. :)
I quite enjoyed the process of decorating this paper bag...what do you think?
But I had so much fun with this one....:)
Lots of fun scraps...even a vellum stripy paper came into play. Stickers, washi tape, doily and some fussy-cut elements. Do they even go together? Probably not. *LOL*
Happy Thursday friends!
Here's this week quick decorated Kraft treat bag. :) I kept it really simple...and flat!
P/s: I finally got my hands on some photo paper for my Canon Selphy printer and can start working on layouts again. They've been out of stock for a while which is why I haven't shared any layouts of late. Guess one will be coming up soon! *winks*
Happy Wednesday friends! For this week's Workspace Wednesday, I'm sharing this week's mish mash decorated Kraft bag.
As always, just a bunch of random bits from my stash that came together quite nicely on a Kraft bag. Remember that a collage doesn't have to make sense, it just needs to look like the stuff belongs together (that's my story and I'm sticking to it!) *winks*
If you are like, "Hmm...the base patterned paper seems to be a collage of patterned papers...", you are right! *winks*
Check out the cute birdie (cut out from washi tape!)!
Hope you are having a great week...October has been very eventful so far (read: in desperate need of sleep) but I will do my best and enjoy the journey too. :)
Happy Friday friends! Life has been busy as always...but I've been having fun using up my scraps to decorate my Kraft treat bags.
Hope you find time to enjoy the little things in life. Have a great weekend!:)
Meet Tuesday's kraft treat bag project. Yep. The usual mish mash of random stuff from the scrap pile + happy mail + supplies I already own = a decorated treat bag! :)
Really proud on how much stuff I actually got on this project because most were odd-shaped scraps that I "expertly" tucked under each layer. *LOL*
This was a super fun and quick project. :)
Using bits of scrap paper, stickers and washi tape. Added some blooms along with a cute birdie and it's all done! :)
Super cute, eh? *winks*
I've had this gold foil doily for a really long time. It was always a little too "loud" for my projects. But I'm on a mission to upcycle all my happy mail bits so I decided to just stick it on this week's upcycled decorated Kraft bag project. Since it is so in-your-face, might as well use it to frame the focal point of the project, right? *winks*
Are you having a fabulous Friday my friends? Here's me sending a little love your way with this week's decorated Kraft bag. :)
Really wanted to play with pinks and reds.:)
Torn paper scraps for texture, stickers and washi tape.
Here is Tuesday's quick decorated Kraft bag. :) Slowly trying to use up my stash of Kraft/glassine bags I got from my SRM Stickers Design Team days...plus redesigning the ones I get from happy mail.
These are great for putting stationery bits like stickers and notecards and for a self-care package - skincare samples.:)
Hope you are having a great week so far!
