Monday's desk - an overstuffed scrapbook album

 

So this gal finally ordered a scrapbook album to organise her stack of completed layouts. There wasn't quite enough refill pages so she put in an order and Amazon delivered it today! And so she was a happy duck with all the scrapbook layouts organised chronologically...

 Until she found another pile of completed layouts that haven't been homed yet.

And now the gal has an overstuffed scrapbook album. *LOL*

Pink florals on a Monday

 

Last week was a pink florals kind of week...here are my practice pieces. :)

They were done in about 15 minutes so not a lot of details are rendered.

It does help that I live in a hot and humid climate. The watercolours dry really quickly so I have to work really fast. *wipes sweat off brow*

Monday's Desk View - the ugly stage

Okay,  I started out painting a bird...which as usual got a little rounder as I added more paint. *winks* And then I dropped a loaded paintbrush on my paper *dramatic music plays in the background* So I had to start drawing a bunch of flowers to "cover" up the splatters. Eh...now it looks like the chubby bird loves flowers. Like a lot. *LOL*

Oh well, the ugly stage in my pieces last a long time.*hahaha* I keep persevering because I hate to waste art supplies in any way...which has worked in my favour because I get to use other supplies in my stash in order to "save" it. And there's this strange sense of satisfaction when you've "saved" a piece from total disaster. Could be a totally "me" thing. Hehehe.
