I was in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last week on a short break and went to see the newest iconic structure that was inducted into the Malaysia Book of Records as the country's tallest crystal fountain. The fountain which consists of three bowls with the hibiscus motif (Malaysia's national flower) serves as an emblem of progression of Malaysia as a nation.

Bird Bench

Isn't this bird bench cute? I love benches. From the time I watched the movie "Notting Hill"...Remember that bench that Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts' characters saw when they climbed over the fence to the garden? The one with the engraving:"For June who loved this garden, from Joseph who always sat beside her."?

Aww...I'm a sucker for romantic gestures...:) Apparently, it's closer in proximity to me now than at the time the movie was filmed. It is now residing in Perth, Australia. You can see a picture of it here.
