Do you have stacks of cards ready for all occasions? I don't. *LOL* I like to whip things up when I need them. :) So I'm always thinking of ways to simplify my card-making process.
I recently started using watercolour paper instead of white cardstock for my scrapbook layouts [They hold up better to my mixed media abuse...*LOL*]. But the watercolour papers come in 16x12 sheets so after cutting them down to size, I am left with 4x12 strips. These are really handy for pressing on the residual mists left on masks. I love that I have a stack of these to use whenever I need to make a quick card.
I run it through the Cameo for the sentiment, add a few embellishments and I'm all done in 15 minutes.

This is totally cool! I must admit I do keep a stash of cards on hand for various occasions. But I'm always running out! And then I need to create on the spot. So I guess I have it both ways ;-)

Mainly because i craft so little since i am busy with my daughter most of the times. & whenever i can, I do LOs for her baby album! I have been using a lot of gauche alchemy things u sent me last year in that super giveaway! :)
Hi Yvonne! I'm stopping in to say hello and congratulations on your new coordinator position with Zeus & Zoe!! Beautiful card, I really like the variation of colors. They pop nicely against the crisp white background.
Congratulations!
Awesome card. Love the trendy and colorful card.
No I don't, but I really should!!! your card is just amazing!!!
No, I usually never have cards just ready to go.... I'm not organized enough for that. Love your idea for using the leftover strips of watercolor paper for cards, and what a fabulous pattern you created with the residual mists. Love the negative die cut sentiment, too!
awesome card :)
This is beautiful! The answer to your question is yes, I do have stacks of cards ready to go for just about every occasion. Most of the birthday cards have post-it flags on them indicating who I made them for, but thank-you cards, thinking of you, etc. are waiting in a tub for when the occasion comes up. I don't tend to make sympathy cards ahead, though I should.
Your card here looks amazing. LOVE the fun colors.
Hugs~
Love this! I hadn't thought about watercolor paper-thanks for the tip! :)
Wow this is fabulous!! you need to send this in for publication to Scrapbook Trends who love the quick, simple and beautifully effective!!
