So this was back in March when the niece decided not to smile for the camera because her mum said she had vampire teeth.
Yep. Not even when it was her birthday.
And of course, nobody cooperated that day too. Sometimes you just get crappy photos...*LOL*
I tried to "save" the photos by incorporating some cute elements. Did it work? *winks*

LOL!! I can totally relate to the bad photos, and the vampire teeth comment!!! I just printed a TON of photos of Dandy to make a mini album about him, and some of them came from older phones (well, duh cause we had him for over a decade, so of course I had older phones then! LOL!), and some of them came out really crappy! And tell the niece not to worry about her teeth, I have those too -- and she can learn to smile without showing them ... I have for years now! LOL!! :) I love this! LOVING the colors and the photos too!! :)
YOu have made an adorable layout Yvonne and totally saved the photo!!!
Cheers

Your blog post title totally caught my attention; and the rest of the post did not disappoint, LOL! I'm with you that not all photos are great, but we should still scrap them if they tell a story in our lives! Great mix of colors on this!
I'd be super mad at anyone who told a beautiful little girl not to smile. :(
As for the rest of them, it's because they're missing the traditional Yam Family Photo Op Signs that come out of every occasion, LOL! Love all the colors and the washi on this page, as well as the dog you snuck in at at the bottom.
ohh if someone told me my teeth were like vampires I probs wouldnt smile either... but the others could have!! Those photos that are not the best.. scrape them anyways...
Great take on the sketch despite the lack of smiles!! Love the paper and all the layering! Thanks for joining us at The Studio Challenges!!
