June's mixed media girls

June's-mixed-media-girls

Back in June, I challenged myself to play with a palette of watercolours [a mix of Holbein, Schmincke Horadam and Daniel Smith] and some coloured pencils [Faber Castell Polychromos] for my mixed media girls. These are the five mixed media girls I drew and painted.

What do you think? I've tried hard to make them less sad-looking...*LOL*

Happy weekend friends! :)

  3. Well done! It's interesting to see the differences in each girl. But I'm sorry. Have to disagree. They still look whimsically out on the world! Not sad, but certainly contemplative;) !!!!

  6. I think several of them look pensive! I loved that one post where you showed us the different layers one of your girls goes through, that is super cool! So when I look at these I can imagine how much work went into them! Hugs!
