The case for flatter and fewer layouts....

Fun-with-cousin-Joshua

Not sure if you've noticed, but I've been cutting down on my layouts of late. And making them really flat. Apparently switching to only multi-photo layouts 2 years ago isn't enough. My album collection is growing at an alarming rate....*LOL*

And to think I started as a digital scrapbooker! But I so want to document fun things that might be awesome to reminisce about years from now. And I LOVE the tactile feel of actual layouts instead of flipping through a digital album. What about you? Are you drowning in albums like I am? *winks*

  8. I can relate, my friend! I felt overwhelmed by the amount of albums I was accruing.... got to the point where I didn't know what to do with them anymore.... so I pretty much stopped scrapbooking. Now I've got cards spilling out of every nook and cranny. But at least I can give those away, or even throw them away, without guilt. :)
LOVE this page! The misted background is fabulous and I adore the subtle tone-on-tone stitched circle behind the photos. The scalloped circles really pull your eye all around the layout. Love the scattered buttons and string nests, too!

  16. Yes, I am absolutely drowning in albums, despite the fact that I have always made completely flat layouts AND only make one page per trip or event, no matter how many photos I took. I've been scrapping for so long that it's overwhelming how many albums there are.
