Another busy week. Did manage to do two eye drawings. :)
A couple of years ago when Pandora bracelets were all the rage, I did want to get one. But it was a couple of hundred dollars to get the bracelet plus the charms I wanted. Which was ridiculous for silver-plated costume jewellery.
Fast forward to July this year, I played the claw machine at a mall and won the Pandora heart charm (pictured). It is red when it's cold and turns pink when it's warm with faint text that says "always" on one side and "I love you" on the other.
Since my dad and nephew #3 were watching other people play the claw machine and not having any luck, they were pretty impressed by my "skill" at winning something. *LOL* Clearly I had to keep my good luck charm right? *winks*
Fast forward to this week when I finally bought a preloved Pandora bracelet for S$55 (with all the charms pictured) and added my colour-changing hidden message heart charm. :)
It is nice to look back at what I was doing last year for my homecooked meals. Last year the focus was getting a huge variety of veggies/herbs in meals. This year my focus is more on getting more protein in each meal as the old folks are losing muscle mass.
Yep...the two oldies really love ice-cream.
Dad couldn't even take his eye off the ice-cream to pose for a series of photos. Of all the photos (scrapbookers take multiples for safety reasons...*winks*), there was just THAT one photo that he was looking at the camera. *LOL*
This layout came together quite quickly because I really wanted to use that scrunched up wrapping tissue in my stash that was driving me nuts. So I just used that as my "patterned paper" and added small fun elements to complete the layout. :)
The girl was in Hanoi last week and got Christmas nails! *happy music plays in the background*
Aren't they cute?
I went for 10 different designs....one for each nail...because I'm extra. *LOL*
Another week...another decorated envelope project. :)
Still having fun with the fussy-cut Jane Davenport faces. :)
Happy weekend friends!
This sketchbook is taking a while to complete given my slow weekly progress *sad music plays in the background*. But 1 is better than 0 so here is this week's eye drawing. :)
Well, someone has an Apple Watch now and is obsessed as usual. Yep, she's tracking everything. Strength-training. Outdoor walk. Outdoor swim. Sleep. And the one watch already has three "outfits" aka straps 2 weeks in. Ahem. So far.
That's how I roll friends. *LOL*
This week's page from the gratitude journal is really all about the bunny in sunnies that I saw at Sentosa when I went for a Van Gogh digital exhibition. The exhibition was a bust (when you've seen the real stuff in Europe, the digital version just sucks) but I did enjoy a lovely day on Sentosa island (which is very touristy).
I went all in with my diecuts and happy mail bits. Can you tell? *LOL*
Happy week ahead friends!
This week's pages from the gratitude journal is all about friendship. Lizzy and I would never have crossed paths in real life if not for the creative world and blogging. Here we were after not seeing each other in person for 4 almost four years due to Covid. Glad we got to spend some time together last year since I couldn't make it to Oz this year and stars couldn't align for us to meet in Vietnam either.
P/s: I had fun with this spread because I got to use my word diecuts across the two pages....:)
