Why I enjoy sketching and colouring in cafes...:)

Why-I-enjoy-sketching-and-colouring-in-cafes

When I first started sketching, I was really self-conscious about doing it in public cafes because I really didn't know what I was doing and I didn't want other people to know. *winks*

Now, I still don't know what I'm doing half the time but with caffeine and dessert, I can zone out and enjoy the process. Some busy bodies might sneak a peek at what I am doing;  most people are too busy playing with their electronics and the ones that do say something generally say something nice.

I would look for a nice cosy corner by the window (natural light!) and just enjoy my ar therapy for a while. Actually, most of my sketches are done on the go. Too many distractions at home. You know, art supplies beckoning me to "use" them....*LOL*

What about you? Do you enjoy arting in cafes?

  2. That's awesome that you got over your fear to do it there! With my ADHD -- it's not easy for me to craft anywhere that isn't craft related! HA!! Heck, it's not even easy for me to do in a place craft related!! LOL!! Squirrel!!!!! ;)

  3. It's just absolutely spectacular!! You have completely mastered eyes!! I only craft in my craft room. If I could draw half as good as you, I'd be doing it all the time, anywhere and everywhere!! Have a great day!! Big hugs :)

  4. Oh wow - this is amazing! I think if people are interested in what you're doing then why not share the love around? Besides, coffee and cake with art sounds pretty good to me!

  5. I do like producing art in public, but not cafes. I feel guilty for hogging table space. But a bench at a park, or in a lobby somewhere - yes!
