For the love of purple...


For-the-love-of-purple

I love the colour purple. It's the mid-point between two colours I'm drawn to: vibrant red and calming blue. Plus I look good in purple [hah...mostly because I look good in purple...*winks*]. :)


I started by adhering the lace to the card base with gel medium, then applying light modeling paste with The Crafter's Workshop stencil. Next, I sprayed the purple mist. And then adhered the embellishments with a hot glue gun.

    Really beautiful....I'm presuming you meant it to be the shape of a heart? Yep, I'm thinking purple is not too bad these days. As for gluing on all those rhinestones. EEEK! That's right up there with fussy cutting!!!!

    Wow!! This is gorgeous! LOVING the colors and those flowers!!! I have such a hard time working with purple, even though Brookie wears it a lot!! LOL!!!

    This would make a terrific Valentine's Day card because there is just the hint of a heart shape. I love the lace of course and the purple just adds to the romance of the card. Lovely!
