Nephew #1 is grandma's boy of course. She's the first person he runs to when he comes over for a visit. And she beams when he greets her, "Hello grandma! "
The two of them in their "bright" outfits pretty much dictated the colours on this layout...*LOL* I used black to help "tone" the colours down.
I've been having fun with these SRM diecuts...and my sewing machine. :)
Not sure if anyone wastes as much thread as using the sewing machine...but I just added the leftover thread as part of the design element.

ReplyDeleteOhhhhhhhhhh I so do waste thread ... especially when my old eyes take wayyyyyyyyyyy too long to thread the needle ... then I get frustrated and FINALLY pull it through the back and have like a foot of thread there! LOL!! I loveeeeeeeee your page! LOVING the colors, the photos ... and of course, the STITCHING!!!!!! YAY for new sewing machine!!!!!

ReplyDeleteSeriously bright and adorable, Yvonne! I love all the color and detail. Awesome stenciled background and the stitched die cut banners are fabulous. Love the silhouette cut photo layered over the first and love all the detailing around them. The twine tie totally caught my eye. Love the leftover thread clusters, too!
