Upcycled plate for SRM Stickers


Altered-plate

So back in October, I envisioned a wall full of decorated pie plates when I did my first one. That seems like an uphill task since I'm only on plate #2... *LOL*


This time round, it features nephew #1 & 2 posing sweetly for the camera back in January [with some sort of bribery involved of my part for sure...since they are both looking at the camera AND smiling...rare feats for children...*winks*]


I LOVE that I managed to use little bits from my "save-it-for-a-rainy-day" stash...scraps of ribbon and twine and felt blooms. Then I added some SRM Stickers and buttons from Purple Pumpkin to complete my pie plate. :)

    I loved the circular frame and the embellishmet cluster with that resin bird.Lets hope this cmg year you create so many of these beauties to cover the wall !

    So, so creative and fun, my friend! Love the background you made from book paper. The way you colored it looks like a lovely outdoorsy scene that is so serene and fabulous. Love the round chipboard, too. Works so perfectly to frame the adorable silhouette cut photo. Totally cute cluster of embellies, too!

    At this rate, the first plates will have gone all faded & dusty by the time you fill that wall...so you'll have to do more:):) LOL.....love the graduated bg & clever you, using those bits & bobs up:):)

    You make the best upcycled/recycled, "save it for a rainy day" bits of stuff, stuff! A whole wall full of plates will look very cool!
