How do you organize your cards?

Birthday-boy-card

So I think it's time to start getting organized with my card collection. And start making specific occasion cards. I do tooooooooo many general "hello" cards.

It's pretty lame to send someone a "hello" card on their birthday, right? *LOL*

What about you? How do you organize your cards? *winks*

P/s: Last week to play along with LESSology Challenge #29: Birthday Party! :)

  7. This card is too freaking cute!! Love that fun braided burlap!
For organizing cards I have a bit more of a system since I sell mine & people need to look through them. I have clear plastic boxes (about shoe box size) that I've used without the lids. Then I've got dividers for the different occasions - birthday, thank you, baby, etc - to make it easy to find.

  12. this is too cute Yvonne. I think I have some of those same diecuts in my stash somewhere.
I do have my cards sorted by theme but I also have a ton of blank cards on the inside that I add a sentiment on the inside as needed. So it may say hello on the outside and I add a get well or happy birthday to the inside.

  13. Such a CUTE card and I gotta disagree with you. I think it's perfectly fine to give a general hello card as a birthday card. What I do for my non-crafty friends is send them an eco card. I don't write on the interior, just on a sticky note and enclose another envelope.

  14. No matter the occasion, cards so fun to get, even if they don't say happy birthday. lol That being said, I'm LAME in regards to making them. Still can't get cards right. LOL

  15. I have a divided tub that holds cards. I keep all of the sections pretty full except sympathy. I hate making those and usually make them only as needed.

  21. Organized cards? I just fill boxes until they are full....then I find another box...heeheehee! Of course I can never find just the right card so I end up rushing to make one. Sigh. That B-day card is fabulous! Cute for any age, but maybe only the oldies would remember Pin the Tail on the Donkey. LOL!
