I pride myself on being very "controlled" when it comes to scrapbooking supplies. I don't buy paper packs. Because I have a tendency to get bored with the same pattern. I buy individual pieces that I really love from each collection and prefer to make my own embellishments from found objects.. And I haven't bought any patterned paper since September 2012. So why is it I'm still drowning in patterned papers? A real mystery eh? *LOL*
I had a lot of fun creating this little "scene" - my nephews and niece with their great-grandma and grand-aunt. It's a composite of 2 photos actually. *winks*

Love the scene you created. Also the way you recycle is awesome.I am also loving the way you cut out pictures to make that scene. Please tell me what do those letters CNY signify.I am very curious.
ReplyDeletethat is a gorgeous scene you have created yvonne... especially the one inside the bottle ring... it is totally out of d box... and what an amazing memory to record... the picture in itself speaks a thousand words... beautiful...!!and mix-match PP... looks like they belong to the same collection... Am a sucker for PPs and love buying and hoarding them... Cannot have enough of them...!!
ReplyDeleteaww I love how you used this collection..such a cute layout...
ReplyDeletewow Yvonne!! I love this!! I love how you superimposed this picture onto the background. it looks as if they are actually at school

ReplyDeleteI love your page Yvonne!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!
TFS~
Awesome layout Yam..and scene that you have created shows how well you plan your LOs with PPs. The pic s no neatly cut. Everything is perfect here..I am crazy about PPs and buy them frquently but find less heart to cut beautiful designs.
ReplyDeleteWonderful layout Yvonne ! I liked the scene and the bottle ring idea is awesome .You cut the photos so neatly..!
ReplyDeletewhat a fabulous whimsical page ... love love love x
ReplyDeleteThis is soooo clever!! Brilliant idea to use two photos to create one perfect one ;0)
ReplyDeleteI love how you made a scene - it's so cute! I buy a lot less patterned paper than I used to. Paper packs are a big mistake - you get stuck with all that stuff forever, and whereas I used to buy 2 sheets of each paper per collection I'll buy about 6 individual sheets per collection now & only one or two collections per manufacturer rather than all of them!
ReplyDeleteI think it's true, it breeds when we're not looking!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the genius way you put the photos together - you know we never could have guessed if you didn't tell! They fit together SO perfectly! And as always, you do the most incredible upcycling :)
Wowzer's..This is so incredibly innovative and so so amazing ...I love this whole scene you have created in this LO ..what an amazing 3D look its almost like we are seeing your family in your living room "Live" ..wow again ...I am simply blown away by your sheer talent !!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the use of the water bottle ring. So cool!
ReplyDeletewow! Love the mix of pp's here and the way you cut out the picture! Wow......looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteA composite of two pictures!!! I am clapping here for you :)
ReplyDeleteLove what you have done with the photos...I like your colourful and patterned papers and what you create with them, keep going if the papers are multiplying at your end lol :)
ReplyDeleteHahaha... I don't why this particular post cracked me up! The unsolved mystery n the background of the layout is funny :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job on fussy cutting your family! The whole page looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteI just love the way you cut the photo out and placed it on your page. Very creative my friend.
ReplyDeleteHugs~
