If you haven't already noticed.....I work on multiple projects at any one time. Which is why you sometimes see the same papers or embellishments on multiple projects. I try to insert some of my "spare" projects [usually publication rejects] or a Tips post to break up the monotony so that you wouldn't notice...*LOL* How many projects do you work on at any one time?
I find it a lot more efficient to do similar activities in one sitting. Like misting a few backgrounds or colouring a few images.
It reduces the clean-up time substantially and having ready-made backgrounds can really speed up the process when you have limited time but really want to complete a project.
My card was inspired by the sketch at Some Odd Girl. :)
How many projects do you work on at any one time?
Supplies: Making memories patterned paper, Some Odd Girl image, Copics, Imaginarium Designs chipboard, twine.
I guess I work on like 3 at a time max. I kind of have to focas and finish. It would be great if I could have lots and lots of stuff going on...but my brain is wired that way! :)
ReplyDeletehow totally CUTE.. i love how you colored all of them..the added twine is perfect... I SOOO love it..

ReplyDeleteYou know me -- I have OCD -- I can't start one project till the first one is done! LOL!! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd *phew* I'm not the only one left in the scrappy world with a reject list??? *have yet to be published raising her hand here* LOL! :)
I loveeeeeeeeee your card!! That twine action is AMAZING!!!!!!
At least a dozen and sometimes more. With Christmas coming up, Trevor and I have multiple homemade gifts in various stages of completion in 3 different rooms of the house plus the garage. And that's not counting the 10+ projects spread around the craftroom.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute, love the twine!
ReplyDeleteLove that twine... shes cutie!!! I work one layout or one card at a time... when one finished... I have to clean up first before starting on my second project!!!.... I just received one good news... one of my layout will be published Scrapbook Magazine for 2013 Jan.... hugs...xoxo
ReplyDeleteDarling card! Fab twine work! I usually work with only one. When I start a second it's because I'm stuck and most likely wont finish the first one. But your way sounds more efficient. :)
ReplyDeleteOh I wish I could be more efficient but I'm a one page at a time kinda girl :) I really wish I were faster but that's the way I roll ;) Your card is so cute too and I like that chippie in the background!
ReplyDeletelove the baker's twine wrapped background. darling card! and your some odd girl images are soooo cute! love their floral dresses. i do like to color a few images at one setting if i could, but i usually only work on one card/project at a time. there are usually a few ideas in my head, but i can only work on one at a time. =)
ReplyDeleteYou are great, I can only work on one project at a time, like Lynnda, I have to clean up the table when I am done with one!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute one here!
Love the green and red and all that twine!!
ReplyDeleteI usually work on one project at a time...now its more like none :( but I like to color and keep stamped images for later....
ReplyDeleteOh my !!loving that twine all over !! As mother to little children i seldom get time to work on multiple projects :(
ReplyDeleteLove the card and those 3 sweet images that you colored. I tend to work on one at a time, but have about 6 or more in some stage of work waiting to be done.
ReplyDeleteCUTE!
ReplyDeleteI can only seem to work on one thing at a time...I don't like to leave projects undone...
Such a fun card and gorgeous color work!! I usually just work on one or occasionally two projects at a time.

Paula
Actually I do that too... haha... cos I want to try to use up all or most of the paper in one sitting... but I'll break them up so that it's not so obvious when I post up my projects as well :)
ReplyDeleteLove the twine and the coloring on this one :)
Usually just one at a time or I get confused, lol. Sometimes I do two in one sitting but it's usually just one at a time. Love this adorable image and the fabulous coloring and design.
ReplyDeletei only work on one at a time as if i put it aside it is more then likely never going to get finished! lol
ReplyDeleteLOVE the twine :)
