One reason why I enjoy working on canvas is because I get to use up a lot of scraps and rub-ons! Check out the left over diecut alphas that I used on the background....just add a little paint and gesso and you get awesome texture!
[This canvas which features the use of hexagons was first shared in the Three Cool Chicks' Let's Get Trendy Now! 2 workshop held in October.] |
Rub-ons are a great way to "finish" a canvas.....like these lovely flourishes...
Supplies: 12 x12 canvas, Crafter's workshop templates, Daler-Rowney acrylics and gesso, Prima bloom, Fontwerks stamp, rub-ons, bling, ice-cream stick.
P/s: Hope you are enjoying the last few days of 2012 my friends! I'll be taking a little bloggy break. See you in 2013! :)
