As you know, I'm a huge fan of found objects around the house [though sometimes it might be someone else's house...*LOL*].....they are such fun things to use on your projects. :) Here are 5 fun things to use on your projects...
1. The wooden Japanese toothpick.
I love that the wooden Japanese toothpick is broad enough for me to add stickers to it. :) Add a little ribbon tab and it serves as a nice photo corner embellishment. :)

Cut up a soda can and emboss it for a cool, reflective element on your project.
3.Tab pulls.
Instead of punching holes for you ribbon, consider using tab pulls as a cool alternative.
4. Bottlecap.
Bottlecaps make such great embellishments. Here I used mine as a photo mat for one of my round photos [I used stickers for the other two photos]. It adds dimension and a little pop. You can also fill it with little beads and buttons for a custom embellishment. :)
5. A charm from a keychain.
Consider adding a little heart charm from a keychain as a fun embellishment for your layout. :)
There you have it, 5 fun things to use on your projects. What do you think?

ReplyDeleteThese are so fun! You have such great ideas for all those found items! I love the soda can, bottle cap, and tab pulls especially. How do you attach your tab pulls? Really good adhesive?
ReplyDeleteI used glossy accents. You might have to hold it in place till it semi-dries....
DeleteI think they're all very cool ideas. I think us as internationals are forced to be more creative simply due to the unavailability of huge craft stores and the time and money it costs to import everything - great for the creativity!
