I don't know about you but I'm furiously trying to use up my old papers (okay 2010 papers) to make way for new ones...*LOL* The "one in, one out" system works well for me....less clutter and hoarding. :) What about you?
This layout features my nephews and Lily Bee papers, utilizing the sketch from Sketchy Thursdays and inspired by the challenge at Scrap the Boys to document a specific moment in time.
A little fussy cutting and layering of embellishments.
I upcycled a sock hanger here...:)
P/s: I went totally off-grid this past weekend so I'll be making my blog visits today!:) Don't forget about my guest Debbie's embossing and sanding challenge....I would love for you to play along! :)
*Edited* This layout was a fave on Sketchy Thursdays! :)
I am totally trying to use up some papers... but it'll never happen --- i still have some from 2007!

I think there is only so many ways they can change patterned papers.... I love the lines you used just as much as I did when they came out....great papers never go outta style! I bought 4 older papers lines this weekend...2008-09 Heidi Swapp and GCD for $5 a piece!!! It was still a score...mixing them can be a fun challenge! :) Great Layout !!!
ReplyDeleteWhat, I'm suppose to use my papers? Nah. Hoarding is much better. Love that you used a hanger in your page... great way to think outside the box.
ReplyDeleteI admit, I am a hoarder, but seeing this beautiful layout makes me want to rethink it! Love the colors!

ReplyDeleteReally stunning. I'm terrible at just using my 'now' papers these days. I need to have a good sort through my kit bags again. I knd of feel like I have no idea of what I actually have any more x

This is so pretty! I am definitely trying to use up my old paper and not buy too much new, I try not to even look at paper much so I won't want to buy it. I have a whole store in style cube(about 18 inches wide) full of patterned paper. I did finally do the fancy pants flower shaped mixed media album with the delight line that I bought I don't know how long ago, probably about 2 years ago.
ReplyDeleteYOU are soooo clever with the sock hanger....LOL...LOVE it. The layout is fab...gotta love the blue/red combo!
ReplyDeleteI totally LOVE this! These were some of my favorite papers from last year. Way to go using your stash. i should work on that too!
