Merry Christmas and best wishes for the new year! :)

Decorated tin can

Still making Christmas pressies? How about a really simple one? A decorated tin can....

Love the beautiful floral flocked paper (thanks Spardha!)....it wasn't big enough to go around the tin can so I added some felt....and made that "gap" a  design element. Added some lace, ribbon, handmade felt flower, and some upcycled Christmas ornaments. And I filled it up with loads of chocolates! :)

What a merry day

What a merry day it was for my nephew S!:) He had a hand in making his own birthday cupcakes...(grandma said that it was healthier to skip all the creamy toppings so we all ate naked cupcakes! ;)

I shot the photo in auto mode and was too lazy to edit the shadow...so I made it a design element...Did it work? *LOL*

Bo Bunny papers, Gauche Alchemy punchinella and Pink Parts Mixed Media Color Kit. SRM Stickers. American Crafts thickers. Stickles. Washi Tape. Handsitching. Mists.

Inspired by the sketch at Bo Bunny and the prompt at Category Stories.

Love notes

Love notes
Love notes: expressing true love...for food! :)

Okay, this is the best I can do for the camera when I'm hungry....I was waiting for my food to arrive at a Bulgarian restaurant. [I get cranky when I'm hungry.] And there are no photos of the food because I was halfway through the meal before I remembered to take photos...errr...what can I say? I love food??? *LOL*

This layout was inspired by this week's challenge at Scrapping The Music - Suds in the Bucket by Sarah Evans! Love this resist paper from Pink Paislee. All I did was mist the different colours and then added distress inks (in hues similar to the mists) and got this really awesome background (at least to me! ;) And then I just added some embellishments (mostly from the various Gauche Alchemy Mixed Media Color Kits). I had fun with the Pink Paislee Artisan element (swirl)...coloured it with copics in matching hues. My journaling was printed on a transparency and tucked in the frame.

What do you think?

P/s: There's still a little time to play along with my guest Julie Tucker-Wolek's challenge! :)
