Hi there! Just wanted to share the layout I did for Scrapping The Music. Last week's song was Remedy by Jason Mraz. My layout features my nephews posing with their toy guns. It's interesting that we live in one of the safest countries in the world and the two boys told me they needed "guns" in their pizza "restaurant" because they're afraid they would be "robbed"...They watch way too much tv....*LOL*
Some misting, paper scraps from Sassafras and embellishments from Gauche Alchemy's Purple People Eater Mixed Media Color Kit.
And I wanted to share the very first card I ever shared on my blog...circa March 2009.
My friend Amy has this grand idea for us to go down memory lane and repost our very first card...*LOL*. This was for CPS....check it out...I was upcyling even then...chocolate wrappers...I sent this card out to one of the victims of the Victorian forest fires via Jennifer McGuire.
hey Yvonne... I love the MIST so much... Fun and bright LO... the photo too...Is that your 1st card??? not bad eh.... xx
ReplyDeleteI love the misting babe...and the colourful stripe. What a funny boy! I need a gun...
ReplyDeleteYour nephews are adorable!! :-) I am sure my son, Aaryan, would love to meet them LOL!! Just yesterday, he wore a Power Rangers gun/mobile something on his wrist and went to the mall (saying he needed the gun to fight with God-knows-who!). :D Boys will be boys will be boys will be... wherever they are on earth, I guess!
ReplyDeleteLove the LO, the cute paper and the super embellies.
And your first card is a stunner too!! Really good for a first, don't you think too? :-)
Hugs,
Smita
