Home sweet home...for pens & pencils

Home sweet home...for pens & pencils

Just wanted to share what I made last month for Gauche Alchemy's Theme Day using Ouchless Cardboard (aka corrugated paper!) Home sweet home...for pens & pencils. Brown paint for the base then beige paint (dry brush technique) and browns inks and embellishments from the It's all gravy, baby! Brown Mixed Media Color kit.

I made this pen holder for myself actually. But my oldest nephew S, saw it and asked if he could have it...

And this came about because another nephew, O, decided that he wanted one too! This one's actually a wooden birdhouse..Oh well, they both ended up happy and I still don't have a pen holder..Anyone want to make me one? *LOL*

  2. Love it! I am sure any little boy would have wanted those... and they are only your nephews. They have a right on everything you make :-p
Rub some of your creativity on me too, please! ;-) And then I will make you one [God knows how and when it will ship though! LOL]
