A page from the gratitude journal - eggs benedict

Eggs Benedict is a breakfast fave that I indulge in when I travel. I do not enjoy the English muffin though. I usually have it with a croissant...it is after all an indulgence. *winks*

This one was really pretty...with the hollandaise sauce on the side and pretty edible flowers on the poached eggs.

What about you? How do you like your eggs done?

Friday's Workspace - the week in eye drawings

These days I've been mostly doing eye drawings and portrait sketches...haven't had time for much else. I limit myself to 30 minutes for each so if I struggle with one, it ends up with less depth and details. And it's become too pricey to use a Posca white paint marker for my highlights since I do draw quite a fair bit. I actually use a white correction pen (it lasts much longer ;).

Enjoy your weekend friends! :)

Wednesday's upcycled project

Happy Wednesday friends! Here is this week's upcycled project...a decorated box.:)

Currently into tearing my washi tape and layering the pieces randomly over each other to create a new "pattern". Works well on a plain background like this cardboard box. :)

Finished off with gold mist of course. *winks*

Let's get back to floral Fridays

 3

It's been a hot minute since I last painted my watercolour florals. Time to get back to it! Perhaps I went a little too dark here...but it was 10 minutes of fun! *LOL*

Happy weekend friends!

September's upcycled box project

Today's upcycled project came together really quickly...

Since the box is really small...*winks*

I adhered a piece of old book paper as the base then went in with my tag washi tape. I cut them out individually and stuck them at different angles to create my own patterned paper. Then finished with random scraps from my stash and gold mist. :)

I like how cute it turned out.

What do you think?

Tuesday's portrait drawing

So this girl finally got started on her portrait drawing again...clearly needs a lot more practice but it's the start of a portrait sketchbook! *high fives all around*

Here's a 30 minute monochromatic portrait sketch with one coloured pencil. :)

Monday's page from the gratitude journal

So many things have happened in the last few months and it has been overwhelming to say the least. So in today's page from the gratitude journal, it is all about unwinding with some cocktails while enjoying the beautiful sunset. :)

Have a beautiful week ahead friends!

Just sharing a simple layout

Just sharing a super simple layout today...

Mum's cousins dropped by for a visit...and the aunts had to take obligatory photos (if they wanted to appear in my scrapbook album...*winks*)

And yes, mum's the tallest and she's 4 inches shorter than me.

Was tempted to add more but restrained myself. *LOL*

Tuesday's page from the gratitude journal: the one about the terrarium

Things have been busy and that's why I enjoy my pages in the gratitude journal. Everything has to be kept relatively flat and simple. It's a great way to have a little creative "me" time without a messy footprint.

This page is about the terrarium I got from my bestie.:)
