...Story time...it's official...I've run out of sentiments for cards...the stamps I have are for scrapbooking and are generally too big for cards (which I started making this March in an effort to use up my scraps)...I marvel at witty sentiments by seasoned cardmakers...Do you have problems thinking of wonderful sentiments for your cards/creations?
Inspired by CPS.
gorgeous yvonne...the colors are absolutely delish!
ReplyDeleteI really love the fresh colours on this one.

verry pretty! I completely agree with you on sentiments. I often want something different than the standard.
ReplyDeletebeautiful colors! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is an adorable card! I have to admit that card making is not my thing. I am always in awe of clever card makers that make these beautiful cards with witty sentiments! lol
ReplyDeleteLove the fresh colors & texture on here! I only put sentiments on about half of my cards. I like leaving it open so that I can use them for different occasions and just don't think its madatory to have one. Writing a heartfelt note on the inside speaks more to me, along with the time & creativity to craft the card itself. With that said though, bravo for finding ways to use your scrapping sentiments with your cardmaking!! And "storytime" would be perfect for a note to a friend and just catching up with a beautiful card! :>
ReplyDeletetry searching quote sites and putting the first few words of the quote on the front of the card and the rest inside.
ReplyDeletei worry about running out of page titles :D
Wow..I just LOVE this card, the bright colors that flowers and your design is awesome..love the stitching..you really rock the cards!!
ReplyDeleteI do use my stamps for sentiments...or quotes.Depends on the card too.
wow, love the colors on this one.....and the stitched border too (did u hand stitch it?)
ReplyDeleteI feel like I use the same sentiments all the time! How many times can you just say Happy Birthday or Thank You? Yet, try to create without one!!! LOVE what you did with that CPS sketch - amazing details.
