Inspired by a piece of wrapping tissue...

Amazing-mixed-media-canvas-for-LESSology

Hello there friends! Hope the year 2016 has been amazing to you so far. Today I'm sharing a 6x6 mixed media canvas for LESSology Challenge #54: Candy Land

I don't know about you but I have a hard time throwing things out. I want to keep EVERYTHING in my "save-it-for-a-rainy-day" box [actually, I have 3!]. Like this lovely black wrapping tissue with floral print that came in the box with my Betsey Johnson shoes. What can I say? At least after two years, the wrapping tissue has been utilized? *LOL* [The shoes are ridiculously high platforms that I like to admire from time to time...*winks*]

And that tacky bracelet from OPI was just the right amount of pink bling on my canvas. The green bling was from an old choker.

Oh so fun... love these colors - that paper is sooooo pretty - so easy to see why you saved it! You just have a way of creating that always uplifts me Yvonne. Love this project.

And... speaking of saving things... hehehe - would you believe I still have the paper that you sent a prize to me in over a year ago???!!! I keep thinking one of these days I will use it's unique pattern in a project!!

Happy New Year. Hugs. j.

Yvonne, now I know that we ARE sisters in the universe of crafting. I save the same kind of stuff; this totally annoys my family. Love the color palette of this project and I would definitely buy a purse if looked just like it. Keep crafting and making me smile....please!
