A pretty canvas using Ranger Distress Stains

It's fun to experiment with mediums on canvas just to see what kind of effect you can get. When I first started using Ranger Distress Stains, I didn't like them very much because they were very fluid and the colours were not intense.

But the colours dry to a soft dreamy finish...perfect if you love pastel colours. :)

The key really is in Ranger Distress Stain in Picket Fence. It's pretty much like adding milk to a thin batter for a richer texture. :)

My suggestion is to let the stains dry naturally and be surprised by the outcome.:) Here I just added some white embellishments and mica flakes to complete the dreamy feel of this pretty canvas.
