My latest love...sticky tape from the hardware store...:)

Celebrate-mixed-media-card

Have you met my latest love? It's the sticky grid tape from the hardware store courtesy of my friend Lizzy Hill...:)

It's some plaster tape or something...white and flat with a sticky back....that you can add yummy mediums over! I've used it on all 3 projects showcased on my blog this week! :)

Playing along with the challenge at Runway Inspired. :)

P/s: Come play along with my guest Savannah's challenge and LESSology Challenge #27: Packaging Central.

*Edited* This card was a Fabulous Fashionista at Runway Inspired.

I think it's called something else in Europe, but here in Oz I'm pretty sure it's called plasterer's tape....good ole hubby got it for me, & of course I took NO notice of what was on the pack...just ripped into it...& you, my friend, are doing a RIPPING great job using it....REALLY fabulous:):):) LOOOOVE those bright drips of colour, too:):)

I have seen people calling it Drywall tape in the US.Really would like to have this but in it's absence I make do with cross stitch mats.See taking your advice and making do with what I have.Love what you did with the canvasThe splashes of colour against the white look awesome.

Ooh, that tape adds such cool texture! Kinda reminds me of Magic Mesh tape from years ago. Love how you've layered it with the fiber paste and created such a cool textured background.
